We continue with our meditations in The Book of Daniel, as we continue to dig deeper into verse 13 of Chapter 10. It reads,
"But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia."
Let us dig a bit more into the phrase "withstood me." Note we drew a parallel with the "stand-your-ground" law in the States. Wikipedia helps in defining what this law implies.
We closed yesterday looking at Matthew 12:43-45, as we expatiated what it means to "withstand." What easily hit us was the strategy of the enemy in ALWAYS wanting to "impose on others."
Matthew tells us this is the place of rest for the demonic spirits. It was what we call their sweet spot, where they operate best. Demonic spirits don't like situations where others "stand their own ground."
Hence, they operate where the victims are devoid of strength or the ability to fight them at their own game. Rather, they play their victims at the level of ignorance or wilful and learned helplessness.
Unfortunately, this is what a lot of supposed Christian gatherings specialize in. These supposed churches are actually the devil's grooming ground. Rather than teaching the people faith, and hence, the ability to stand their ground, they are filled with fear.
Thinking they are doing the work of the kingdom, they are actually doing the works of the devil. How much clearer do the scriptures need to explain to us that "the just shall live by faith?"
He who equips the just with faith is doing the work of the kingdom. He who does otherwise is doing the work of the enemy, Satan. QED. No excuses will hold water. Pure and simple that is how we separate the kingdom of darkness from that of light.
As Jesus so rightly teaches, "A kingdom divided against itself shall not stand." You are either teaching faith and belonging to God, or you are teaching fear and belonging to your father, Satan. Clear?
The Saint.
