A God Who Answers | Part One.

We continue with our meditations in The Book of Daniel. We move on to verse 12 of Chapter 10. It reads,
"Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words."
The angel's words excite me. He said, Daniel's words matter in "The Throne Room." Heaven was not too busy to get to Daniel's case. It responded the very moment he made the move to call. Heaven did not answer before, but immediately Daniel made a move to call.

Meaning, that for as long as Daniel did not call, Heaven did not respond. Heaven's response depends on Daniel's call. The very same thing applies to each of us. We are not waiting on God. He is the one waiting for us.

God loves us. He knows all we want and need, yet He has determined to wait on us. It might not make sense, but it makes God. That is the way He has set up His universe. It is not for us to understand or argue it. It is for us to accept and line up with it.

Prayer is not man's idea. It is God's idea. It does not have to feel right. It only needs to feel God. It only needs to align with His word, truth, and way. So, Jesus gave us a parable in Luke 18, with the intent that we should always pray, and never give up.

The Saint.
