“Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers, but to be fearless in facing them. Let me not beg for the stilling of my pain, but for the heart to conquer it.” ― Rabindranath Tagore.
Life is what it is. It is not for us to change it. Ours is to use it, and excel, for our own self, and others, just as well. In essence, we are here not to necessarily change life but to conquer it. Lest we be conquered by it. We have no other choice, but the warrior stance. Life is not for the slothful.
There are just too many people looking for an easy life. Unfortunately, various charlatans promise them the same. And, they believe them. They are ever in expectation of promised phantom easy life until frustration and depression get the better of them. Then, just after the darkest night the light finally breaks through.
Let me repeat for the umpteenth time, the universe is a perfect giver. It gives according to that which we demand of it and thus deserve. It is blind to who we are, or our wishes. Our wishes are not horses, so no beggar is riding anywhere.
The universe allows dangers our way to educe the greatness within us. That is, to awaken the sleeping giant on our inside, which hitherto was dormant, nor did we know existed. Our ability to rise to the imminent danger grows and ushers us to the next level of our being.
We evolve by changing, adapting, maturing, and taking ownership of our journey. It is not by laying claim to the old, or our privileges, but be willing to risk it all for the vision that is before us. It is a willingness to endure the pain and its healing process, rather than being delivered prematurely.
You have to prove your self-worth. Leaders are not born. Nor are champions. They are made through the fire, through the waters, and through the storms. They are conquerors with a story. It did not just happen. There is a story. They have a story, which is repeatable.
Are you one?
The Saint.
