Text: “So Daniel said to the steward whom the chief of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, “Please test your servants for ten days, and let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then let our appearance be examined before you, and the appearance of the young men who eat the portion of the king’s delicacies; and as you see fit, so deal with your servants.”” ― Daniel 1:11-13, NKJV.

We are spirits. We are energy, and our energy and spirit is in continual interaction with our environment. One is seeking to gain mastery over the other with a resultant effect governed by the law of averages, taking quantity and intensity into consideration. We are all in a state of continual influence - influencing and being influenced. We are the result of the influences of yesterday and will be the result tomorrow of the ongoing influences of today.

God created man in His image and according to His likeness so that man would receive God as life and express God in all His attributes. (Genesis 1:26-28; 2:8)
The reason God created man in His image inwardly and with His likeness outwardly was not for man to do anything for God or to “be God’s friend”, but so that man and God would be organically one and God would be expressed through man on earth.
