My Resolutions: Resolution Three.

"Resolution Three: Resolved, if ever I shall fall and grow dull, so as to neglect to keep any part of these Resolutions, to repent of all I can remember when I come to myself again.” ― Jonathan Edwards.

Scriptures:

“But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” ’― Luke 15:17-19, NKJV.

My Resolution:

"Resolved, to always be quick to repent when I get off the perfect way, or discover an area in which I fall short of the perfect way.” ― St. Akin de Sage.

"When my conscience under the Holy Spirit makes me aware of a specific sin I should at once call that sin, sin, and bring it consciously under the blood of Christ." ― Francis Schaeffer.

I shall not continue digging myself in a hole once I come to myself and discover myself in one. I will first stop digging and get rid of the shovel. Then start finding my way out. So, help me, God.
