Hello December.

Welcome to December. I am not one of those sticklers for all those "Happy New Month" greetings, but December does hold a special place in my heart. This is for various obvious reasons, not excluding the fact it is the month I get to prepare for the coming year. In my mind, 2021 ended yesterday. That is why I spend November focusing on "Thanksgiving.

December, for me, is all about casting the vision for the coming year. I have my mentor's counsel engraved upon my consciousness. His counsel is to always finish a thing before starting it. That is the key to getting a perfect result. So, I finish a journey before I start it. We call that "Journey Management." Right? Shouldn't we finish a day before it starts? We'll call that "Day Management."

What about finishing a week, a month, a year, etc. before it starts? That would be "Week, Month, Year, etc. Management." Isn't that rather sage? That is what Stephen Covey teaches in his book, "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People." Won't you want to be highly effective in 2022? Stephen tells us, all things are created twice. First in our mental faculty, and then in reality.

This is subscribed to by my mentor, Jim Rohn. He teaches that is the secret to having a perfect outcome. Won't we all want to have a perfect 2022? The desert fox, from the second World War, Erwin Rommel, adds, "sweat saves blood." So, come on board and let us spur each other to envision the perfect 2022 we want. Deal?
