Hello! March, 2021. Time to Take Our Possession.

Happy New Month, Family.

Wow! What a year? Still trying to catch my breath. Where did January and February go? I can’t believe we are already in March. Wow! I am just catching fun everywhere and from every corner. Lo and behold, I kicked off not one, not two, but three new initiatives in February. That’s crazy, right? Who does that?

Against the backdrop of an already busy schedule, I am adding instead of reducing. I guess that is what they meant by, “the reward for good work is more work. I never knew. Guess no one told me. I obviously missed the memo. Look at me sending this out on the third day of March. This, I would have typically sent out, latest on or by the first of the new month, I am only now sending out. 

Let Life Touch You:

Truly, "Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away. When I was a child, I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my childish ways." - 1 Corinthians 13:9-11, The Passion Translation.

I grew up a perfectionist. For all the right reasons, perfectionists grow up into one. That sure is not the perfect way to live, now amicable to a growth mindset. I have since matured into this new person I carry. I ain't done yet, though, but I sure am very far from where I began.

It Is a New Day:

When I was much younger, catching up would have gotten me all agitated. Such is the life and the unnecessary burden of a perfectionist. That is rather imprisoning and sure not a way to live. Thanks to God, I am free. Today, I lean into life with all its chaos. I embrace it and find a new equilibrium level, trusting it is all working in my favor.

Life is just what it is. Our place is to set our own sail and keep making the adjustments in harnessing the winds; the storms and shakings work in our favor. We do not control the winds of time. We do not control the waves and the storms of life. We do control and are responsible for how they affect us and where they lead us. That we can NEVER abdicate to anyone else. 

I am not here to avoid life. I am here to live life to all its fullness. I am not afraid to live, just as I am not afraid to die. Life and Death are the "yin and yang" of nature. One cannot do without the other. One leads to the other. Until we die, we cannot truly live. For us to truly live, we have to die. 

We have to die to the things warring to hold us captive. We have to die as per the things limiting us. We have to die to the things distracting us. We have to die to the things, not in line with our set goals, dreams, and vision. Life is not about avoiding Life is about taken on life, learning, growing, and developing to the best version of all we are called to be.

March-ing into Fate:

I love the way my mentor, Jim Rohn, puts it. He says, "our first interest in life is to survive. Our second is to succeed. The question is can we be legitimately self-interested in the things that make us both survive and succeed? The answer is yes. We do not get what we need. We get what we deserve. We get what we ask for, seek for, and demand.

That is all we will be doing this month. So, tighten your belt and let us take flight. Hoping you'll be blessed and set on the right trajectory for the remainder of the year 2021.

Happy New Month from my heart to yours, from my family to yours. May this month answer to you. I love and appreciate you from the heart. Thanks for your fellowship here. You make the difference. Let us continue making the difference in 2021.

The script has been finished, signed, sealed, and delivered. Now go act it out. Go live out knowing, no matter what you face, no matter what comes your way, the end has already been predetermined; you won! Now go forth in this your might and bring in the medals.
