A Life Makeover

Keep My Numbers Visible
Socrates teaches us, "The unexamined life is not worth living." That is to say, a life that is not examined from time to time is a worthless life. Does that hit you hard in the face? Is your life an examined life? Do you hold a "Come to Jesus" moment with yourself, from time to time? Or, you pretty much assume all is okay, and coast along, waiting till life itself gives you a rude awakening?

Quality Questions = Quality Answers:

Wouldn't it be rather wise to ask the questions than wait for life to forcefully ask? All it takes to miss the mark are just a few little seemingly insignificant drifts. Have you been drifting? How will you know if you do not check? When last did you take stock of your life - spiritual, psychological, and temporal? Are you growing in these areas? Are you alive in them? Is it well and okay, or there is a cause for concern?

If you are not getting closer to Jesus; if your worship is not getting deeper and you are comfortable, is that okay? Are you in the right church? Are you under the right pastorage, or it simply the wickedness of your own heart that is corrupting you? You need to know and do something about it. The earlier the better before the coming hurricane hits the shoreline.

Seeing Tomorrow from Yesterday:

What about the other areas of your life? Is this where you envisioned your life to be today, five years ago? Is it any better than you envisioned, or less? Have you grown at all in the last five (5) years? If not, what is the guarantee the next five years will be any better? What do you need to cut off from or reduce? What do you need more of?

This is a makeover season. Don't let it pass you by.
