The Mind - 101:

A Perfect System of Systems
“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” — Albert Einstein

Wisdom:

The intuitive mind is one that is in contact with the very source of life itself. It is the interface between our subconscious mind and Supreme Intelligence. Hence, it is not fully ours, and only works to the extent to which our subconscious mind is cultivated, and alive to discern the stimuli it is receiving from Infinite Intelligence.

Women tend to be more intuitive than men for the simple reason their emotions are better cultivated. Emotions are to the subconscious mind what the intellect is to the rational (conscious) mind.

The mind is the place where the battle of life takes place. A person cannot win in the affairs of daily living until such has first won in the affairs of inside (mind) living. Dr. Stephen R. Covey rightly divides his book, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People,” in conveying this truth.

In the summary signage for the book, he has us needing to transit from the place of dependence to independence by having personal victories, through the inculcation of the first three habits. Then, from independence to interdependence through the next three. The seventh is essentially what holds it all together.

So, if we are to win in the affairs of this life, we need first win the battle in our mind - conscious, subconscious, and intuitive. Then, and only then can we face the external life, the world, with no enemy within. That brings back to reckoning that old African proverb,
"If there be no enemy within the enemy without can do us no harm."
How much are you at home with your mind? Do you have it all together? Are you sober (temperate)? Is your mind under control? Is your soul humble? Is your mind working for you? Are you thinking, or being thought for? Are you living in the moment, or lost in the yesterdays and tomorrows of your life?

May the endowment in between your ears work for you, and not against you.
