Luck they say is when opportunity meets with preparedness. Opportunity is constant. It comes in cycles. Like the Bible says, “there is nothing new under the sun.” Opportunities come in its waves. What was, is what is, and what shall be. Stop crying your heart away. The beautiful ones are yet unborn. Whatever opportunities you thought you lost yesterday, take heart, it is coming back your way.
Were you jilted? Take heart? It is not lost. That was not yours. If it was it might have worked. Like the homing pigeon, the one which is yours is coming. Only learn the right lessons from your last encounter. Don’t fall backward. Don’t fail backward. Fall forward. Fail forward. Let whatever happened to you make you a better person. Rise! Rise!! Rise!!! You are bigger than the experience. Rise!
Make the experience worth it. Don’t let it have one on you. Don’t let it distract you. If you have nothing in your future, the experience will not have come. You do! Never ever forget, “Nothing just happens!” What has happened to you is because there is a bigger opportunity in front of you. It comes to awaken you to preparation, the variable in the scheme of life.
Yes, opportunities will always come, as sure as sure is. What is not sure is if you will be ready. Opportunities will come, but will it meet you ready to harness it. Will it make any difference for you? Will you be able to discern it earlier and faster than others? Will the experience of life work in your favor, or will they count for nothing?
Stay at your duty post. Stay your course. Learn, grow, and put to action that which you have learned, that which you are becoming. Life will work only if you work. It is counting on you. Will you play?
