My Thanks

Lord, I bring my thanksgiving offering to you this day. It is the humble cry of the whole of my being to you, my Lord and my King.

Thanks you for the days of my pilgrimage. Thank you for each and every day. Thank you for each and every hour. Thank you for each and every minute. Thank you for each and every second. Thank you for being there all along. Thank you for being there when I felt you. Thank you for being there when I did not feel you. Thank you for teaching me what it means to trust.

Thank you for each season of life you have brought me through. Thank you for the season when my whole foundation was shaken to its bare bones. Thank you for not leaving me there. Truly, I can say like David, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

Thank you, Lord, for bringing me through. Thank you for hitching the ride with me. With the whole of my heart I say, “Thank you.” With the whole of my heart, I say, “I love you, Lord.” You are and will forever be my God, my Lord and my King. You are the definition of my life. My life has no meaning outside of you. You are my meaning. You are the meaning to my life. You are my sunshine. You are the seasoning, the spice and the flavor that makes my life gel.

Be glorified, O Lord, in this vessel of mine.
