How Well, Not How Long

Age is a mere number. The real question is what has the passing years made of you? Have you learnt anything from your pains? What have your scars made of you – a bitter person, or a grateful person? Those are the real questions. Have you been a rolling stone, through the years, gathering no moss? Or, is there something; is there wisdom to garner from your years?
It's not how long you live, it's how well you live. (Martin Luther King Jr.)
So, don’t boast in your years. Boast in your experience. Don’t boast in your number. Boast in how much better your life has come to be. Who cares how long you have been doing it? What matters is the impact you have made and are still making. What matters are the lives that are much better because of you. Those are the real currencies of life.
Life is like a play in the theater; it does not matter how long it lasts, but how well it was played. (Seneca)
So, time to wake up from your slumber. It is time to focus on the majors, and not the minors. Let someone know you are. Let someone give thanks to God just because of you. Make a difference. Be the difference.
I have no regrets, because I've done everything I could to the best of my ability. (Robert Redford)
