The classic definition of luck is that which happens when preparedness meets with opportunity. In life opportunity is a constant. It comes in different forms every day. Sometimes it comes in work clothes. At other times it comes in the calamities and unfortunate circumstances of life. And yet, at other times it comes in plain sight, daylight visibility.
Diligence is the mother of good luck. (Benjamin Franklin)
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more you sweat, the luckier
you get. (Ray Kroc)
Irrespective of how it comes, it is useless if and when we are not prepared for it. That is what we term as bad luck. The onus is on us to prepare and keep preparing when the opportunity is yet to appear. That takes care of the part that is within our realm of control. The rest is in God's hands. And, guess what? God NEVER fails.
