Being Perfected

Nothing happens to us. Everything happens for us. There is a purpose. There is intent. There is a glory that can and is being worked out. Our place is not to complain. Our place is to make the best of every single situation of life, DOING THE THINGS WE CAN DO, AND TRUSTING GOD WITH THE THINGS THAT ARE BEYOND US.

Our God is God over all. He is God in the dark places, just as much as He is good in the good times. He is God in the valley, just as much as He is God on the mountaintop. Our situation and circumstance does not, and cannot diminish His Almightiness. Our place is to trust Him.

Like David let our prayer, song and confession always be, “Even if I go through the deepest darkness, I will not be afraid, Lord, for you are with me. Your shepherd's rod and staff protect me.” (Psalm 23:4, GNT)
