A little leaven leavens the whole lump. (Galatians 5:9, NKJV)
What one generation tolerates, the next generation will embrace. ― John Wesley
A little seed of evil in Cain grew and made him a killer. He could have addressed it while it was yet little, but he chose not. Rather, he nurtured it till it made him a killer – the very first killer in the history of humanity. The evil he tolerated grew to become his master.
So what seeming little evil are you tolerating in your life. It might look small today, but all it takes is a little while for it to become a monster, which will grow out of your control. It might look controllable in our own generation, but what about the next generation? What seeds are we sowing?
Let us beware that we only tolerate the right things.
