For we walk by faith, not by sight
Meditation:
In religion faith does not spring out of feeling, but feeling out of faith. The less we feel the more we should trust. We cannot feel right till we have believed. (Horatius Bonar)It is not what, nor is it how I feel that matters. It is what the word of God says. It is the will of God at every point in time and in every situation. We do not force the word of God to align with our feelings. Rather, we force our feelings to align with the word of God. A thing feeling right does not make it right, or true. The word of God, not our feelings, has always been, and will always be our baseline.

Prayer: Lord, deliver me from worshipping a god of my own emotions, or that of others. Help me seek and worship only you.
